Q: Is there anything you wish you had known about business before you got started?
Krystal Kenney: In the beginning, I had no confidence. I thought, “Why would anybody hire me?” I didn’t even want to talk about my business. It was kind of embarrassing. I felt like I wasn’t worthy.
Having resources and knowledge really gives you the confidence to talk about your business and yourself. A lot of times, creative people from any background, and even more so women, have a hard time talking about themselves and their work because they feel like they’re not humble. It’s not about that. Q: Is there anything specific that inspired you?
Krystal Kenney: When I meet a lot of people and I take pictures of them, they often tell me that I’m living their dream life. They also want to be full-time photographers living in Paris. For them, it feels impossible.
This course is really for those people. It’s for people who are feeling a little lost. They’re dabbling in
